Schynige Platte–First high-altitude hike & Jungfraujoch (Jungfrau Region)

A trail that truly lives up to its reputation: the high-altitude hike from Schynige Platte to First is one of the most impressive routes in Switzerland – and a firm favourite among locals too. Along the way, you’ll be treated to views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, wide valleys and that unmistakable Alpine backdrop.

One highlight on the route: lake Bachalpsee. World-famous, often photographed and still magical every single time. Perfect for a scenic break.

Gryden high-altitude circular trail & biking (Adelboden-Lenk)

Over 200 million years of geological history beneath your feet: on the Gryden high-altitude circular trail at Betelberg, you’ll hike through a unique crater landscape that feels almost a little like the moon. Add to that wide-open views, fresh mountain air and a panorama that follows you every step of the way.

Adelboden-Lenk shows its versatile side on two wheels too. Whether it’s a fast-paced descent, a relaxed ride through the valley or a biking adventure with the whole family: between peaks, forests and mountain streams, you’ll find exactly the route to match your perfect summer day.

With views of the Great Aletsch Glacier (Aletsch-Arena)

See, feel and discover the longest glacier in the Alps: in the Aletsch Arena, you can get right up close to the Great Aletsch Glacier. From the Hohfluh, Moosfluh, Bettmerhorn and Eggishorn viewpoints, you’ll enjoy impressive views of the UNESCO World Heritage Site – perfect to combine with a relaxed summer hike.

Mountain hiking & family highlights (Engelberg-Titlis)

From relaxed to sporty: around Brunni, Fürenalp and Titlis, you’ll find everything that makes a summer in the mountains so special. Whether it’s a challenging hike, an easy pushchair-friendly walk or rowing on lake Trübsee – Engelberg-Titlis is a true mountain paradise in summer.

The marmot trail is especially lovely for explorers big and small. Pack a pair of binoculars: with a bit of luck, you’ll spot the lively little animals up close – and maybe even discover chamois or ibex too.
